Brownie Batter - Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (8 oz) chickpeas or black beans
  • 1 1/2 tbsp regular or dutch cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup quick oats 
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/6 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp raw or local honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tblsp nut milk or milk of choice for thinner dip
  • 3 tblsp nut butter (I use fresh ground Peanut Butter)
  • Top with chocolate chips, crushed nuts or toppings of choice

Instructions

In a blender or food processor (I use the ninja smoothie cup), combine all ingredients except toppings, blend until smooth. 
Sprinkle toppings and eat with fruit or graham crackers (I prefer chocolate Graham’s). Refrigerate, will last up to 4 days covered.
